How far in advance should we book you?
As soon as you know you want me! Popular dates can disappear quickly, but there’s no harm in checking, even if your wedding is coming up soon.
Do you travel outside Auckland?
Absolutely. I’m based in Auckland but happy to travel for weddings around New Zealand. Any travel costs will be discussed with you upfront.
Can we write our own vows?
Absolutely and I can help if staring at a blank page suddenly makes you forget everything you’ve ever loved about your partner! You can also keep them simple, traditional or skip personal vows altogether.
Do we have to memorise anything?
Nope. This is a wedding, not an exam. I’ll guide you through everything on the day.
Can we include readings, family members, pets or cultural traditions?
Yes. Your ceremony should reflect the two of you and the people and traditions that matter to you. We’ll work out what feels right together.
What happens if you’re sick on our wedding day?
I’ll have a contingency plan and will do everything reasonably possible to make sure you’re not left standing at the altar wondering where your celebrant is.
Can you be both our celebrant and MC?
YES and honestly, I love doing both. It means you have one familiar person across the whole day who already knows you, your plans and how everything is supposed to run.
What does your MC service cover?
I’ll help keep your reception timeline moving, coordinate with your vendors, introduce the important moments, manage speeches and announcements, and generally make sure you don’t spend your own wedding asking, “What are we supposed to be doing now?”
How do we book you?
Hit Check My Date, send me your wedding details and I’ll confirm whether I’m available. From there, I’ll send through everything you need to get your date locked in.
